In State v. Hunt, _N.C. App. _, _, 710 S.E.2d 339, 340 (2011), this Court vacated Defendant Samuel Kris Hunt’s convictions for second-degree sexual offense and crime against nature after concluding that the State failed to present sufficient evidence of the victim’s mental disability to survive Defendant’s motions to dismiss. Our Supreme Court reversed, holding that the State presented sufficient evidence to survive Defendant’s motions to dismiss the charges of second-degree sexual offense and crime against nature, and remanded for this Court to…
