JACKSON, Judge.
David Carl Cartwright (“defendant”) appeals from jury verdicts finding him guilty of first-degree kidnapping, armed robbery, first-degree rape, breaking and entering, and first-degree sexual offense returned 18 March 2004 in Wayne County Superior Court.
All of defendant’s charges arise from an incident occurring 14 June 2003. At trial, the State’s evidence tended to show that the victim, a seventy-six-year-old widow, was standing in her kitchen when she saw papers in her carport that were not present the preceding night.
