The appellant filed a complaint against the appellee, in which it was averred that on the 24th day of June, 1879, and continuously thereafter until the 1st day of February, 1881, he and one Louisa R. Willette were *70partners, doing business under the firm name and style of George W. Keen & Co.; that during all of said time said Louisa R.
