Proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78 (transferred to this Court by order of the Supreme Court, entered in Albany County) to review a determination of respondent which found petitioner guilty of violating certain prison disciplinary rules.

When petitioner’s cell at Cayuga Correctional Facility was searched, he was found to have in his possession a sheet of Elmira Correctional Facility letterhead on which the name of a correction counselor had been whited out, eight blank temporary license/identification cards from the Department of *903Motor Vehicles, and several State and Federal agency employee…
