[1, 2] Plaintiff operated a Ford automobile as a jitney on Laurel street in the city of Shreveport. He stopped at the corner of Norma street to pick up a passenger, and then continued on his way. In order to get around a horse and buggy stationed next to the curb on his right just beyond the crossing about 60 feet from where he had stopped for the passenger, he swerved to the left, and in doing so exposed a part - of his automobile upon the street car track.
