It is the! general rule that whenever the wrongful act of one person results • in liability being imposed on another, the latter may have indemnity from the person actually guilty of the wrong. The exception to the rule is that *432as between actual tort-feasors the law will not enforce contribution or indemnity. The rule of the exception, one of public policy, has not generally been extended by courts.
