INTRODUCTION

A jury convicted the defendant, Leslie Allen Lamer, of 12 counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child under the age of 14, in violation of Penal Code section 288, subdivision (a). The jury also found true all 10 special allegations of substantial sexual contact with a child under the age of 11, within the meaning of Penal Code section 1203.066, subdivision (a)(8).
