Appellant filed her petition against appellee, the sheriff of Marion county, addressed to the circuit judge of the Fifteenth judicial district, in which Marion county is situated, for a writ of habeas corpus, setting up that she was unlawfully restrained of her liberty by appellee. The cause was tried by the circuit judge on the petition, appellee’s answer thereto, and evidence.
