William Thomas Brooks, Jr., appellant, was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County of robbery with a deadly weapon, carrying a handgun and use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence. Sentences were imposed on each of these convictions, and it is from these judgments that this appeal was taken. It is not necessary for the purposes of this appeal to relate the facts concerning the armed robbery which occurred on February 16,1975, at a restaurant in Langley Park, Maryland.
