*411This action was brought by the plaintiff to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been caused by a defect in a sidewalk upon one of the principal streets of the defendant-while plaintiff was. traveling’ thereon. There were a verdict and judgment for plaintiff. The appeal is from the judgment and an order denying a new trial. The questions presented to this court are whether the evidence is sufficient to justify the verdict, and whether the court misdirected the jury to the prejudice of the defendant.
