Tbe complaint in this action alleges that on November 10, 1921, tbe defendant executed and delivered to tbe plaintiff a note for $1,463.70, due on October 1, 1922, and at tbe same time to secure its payment gave plaintiff a chattel mortgage covering all of the crops to be grown during the year 1922 upon the south half of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 26, and the southeast quarter of section 27, all in township 29 north, range 4 west, Pondera county, which mortgage was duly filed in the proper office; that defendant planted,…
