Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company v. Carol Thomas

Carol Thomas, proceeding pro se, appeals the district court’s decision granting summary judgment to Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company. The district court declared Thomas’ insurance policy void because she made material misrepresentations on her application to reinstate the policy. Thomas contends that was error because the record showed that her policy with Fidelity never lapsed, and thus any misrepresentations on her application were not material.
