The defendant-appellant, Carmela Casale, appeals her conviction in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas for gross sexual imposition in violation of R.C. 2907.05 and rape in violation of R.C. 2907.02.

The defendant was indicted for three counts of gross sexual imposition, three counts of rape and two counts of felonious sexual penetration involving her daughter and two minor nieces, all under the age of thirteen.
