PARKER, Circuit Judge:

P.K. Vichare, plaintiff-appellant, brought suit in the Southern District of New York (Sidney H. Stein, Judge), alleging that defendant AMBAC Indemnity Corp. and its parent AMBAC Inc. (collectively, “AMBAC”) discriminated against him on the basis of race or national origin (Vichare is Indian) in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e et seq.
