In these consolidated cases, we review three court of appeals opinions holding that a new procedural rule, C.R.C.P. 16.2, provides the trial courts with jurisdiction to modify property divisions entered in marital dissolution cases that were originally filed before that new rule went into effect. In re Marriage of Roberts, 194 P.3d 443, 445 (Colo.App.2008); In re Marriage of Schelp, 194 P.3d 450, 452 (Colo.App.2008); In re Marriage of Barnett, No. 06CA1905, 2008 WL 4286989, slip op. at 6 (Colo.App. Sept.18, 2008).
