KAROHL, Judge.

Joseph Heidebur (Movant) files this appeal from the motion court’s judgment amending his sentence in response to his Rule 29.15 motion. We reverse the motion court’s judgment and vacate the amended sentence.

On May 18, 1995, the State charged Mov-ant with two counts of sodomy of a child under the age of 14 in violation of section 566.060.2, RSMo 1994. The State later amended the information to allege only one count of sodomy of a child under the age of 14. The case was tried and on March 26, 1996, the jury returned a guilty verdict.
