The Department of Transportation, Bureau of Driver Licensing (DOT) appeals from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County that sustained Michael Drudy’s appeal from a two-year revocation of his operating privileges. We reverse the order of the trial court.
In a letter dated January 19, 2001, DOT notified Drudy that his driving privileges would be revoked for two years, effective February 23, 2002, because of his conviction on November 6, 2000, for a violation of Section 1543 of the Vehicle Code (Code), 75 Pa.C.S. § 1543 (Driving while operating…
