Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Lamont, J.), rendered September 26, 2002 in Albany County, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of robbery in the second degree.

Defendant and his codefendant, Michael Fenner, were indicted on two counts of robbery in the second degree for their involve*1021ment in a mugging. Fenner ultimately pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted robbery in the second degree, with the understanding that he would testify against defendant.
