CLEARY, Chief Judge.

Appealing a conviction of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, appellant argues that the district court erred by *609denying his motions for suppression and dismissal because his right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures was violated during a traffic stop and subsequent search of his vehicle and because Minnesota’s classification of marijuana as a Schedule I substance violates his right to equal protection of the law.
