This was an action brought by Maggie Belcham against the Grand Lodge Ancient Order of United Workmen, and Bloomington Lodge No. 63, Ancient Order of United Workmen, upon a beneficiary certificate insuring the life of her husband, Thomas W. Belcham. On the trial of the cause before a jury the plaintiff recovered, and the defendants appealed to the Appellate Court, where the judgment was affirmed.
