|2Pefendant, Honoré Estes, appeals her conviction and sentence for second degree murder. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.

Defendant was indicted by a Jefferson Parish Grand Jury on June 21, 2012, for one count of second degree murder, a violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. After entering a plea of not guilty, defendant proceeded to trial on March 19, 2013,1 and was found *850guilty as charged on March 22, 2013.
