GIVAN, Justice.

A jury trial resulted in the conviction of appellant of Murder, and of Conspiracy to Commit Murder, a class A felony, as well as a finding that he is a habitual offender. He was sentenced to forty (40) years on the murder count, enhanced by thirty (80) years for the habitual offender status, and to thirty (80) years on the conspiracy count, to be served consecutively for a total executed sentence of one hundred (100) years.
