The Edgewood Land Logging Company, hereinafter referred to as Edgewood Company, owned a certain tract of land in the Town of DeQuincy. It subdivided this tract of land into blocks, lots and streets. Block 11 was bounded on the north by LeBlanc Street, on the East by McNesse Avenue, south by First Street and west by Page Street; in the center, there is an alley of fifteen feet, running east and west. The block is divided into sixteen lots, eight facing LeBlanc Street and eight facing First Street.
It appears that the natural drain of the property to the south of said block is toward the center…
