JOHNSON, Judge.

Maurice A. Nernberg, Jr., appeals from the order that directed him to pay counsel fees. Because we conclude that the trial court did not have the jurisdiction to award counsel fees relating to the time spent in responding to a petition for a writ of certio-rari that had been presented to the United States Supreme Court, we reverse.
