On July 16, 2012, the Houston County Department of Human Resources (“DHR”) filed three petitions in the Houston Juvenile Court (“the juvenile court”) alleging that J.W.M. Ill, A.L.M., and A.J.M. (sometimes referred to collectively as “the children”) were dependent and requesting that the juvenile court terminate the parental rights of A.H. (“the mother”)- and J.W.M., Jr. (“the father”).
