Mary A. Hylak, a minor, filed a second amended complaint in the circuit court of Cook county against Mareal, Inc., a corporation, alleging that as a result of defendant’s violation of sections 18, 19 and 26 of the Child Labor Act, she suffered the loss of certain joints of the fingers of her right hand. In its answer defendant denied that it violated any provision of the Child Labor Act, or that her injuries resulted from any such violation.
