CRANDALL, Judge.

This appeal arises from the granting of summary judgment in favor of respondents in appellant’s action for damages arising out of an alleged conversion of certain items of equipment. We affirm.

On August 2, 1971, American Mining Company, Inc., executed a promissory note and security agreement in favor of appellant granting a security interest in certain equipment. American Mining executed and delivered two financing statements to appellant who then purportedly filed them with the Secretary of State of the State of Missouri and the St. Louis County Recorder of Deeds.
