Trippe, Judge.
1. All that we decide in this case is that there was sufficient evidence to put the defendants upon proof of title or to show that they did not acquire possession by mere entry without any lawful right whatever. Abbott Avas in possession of the land at the time of his death. His executor conveyed by deed to Sasseen Avho Avent into possession and so remained for four years, when he sold to Sells and made him a deed. Deeds Avere made to subsequent vendees, until the plaintiff’s was executed. We think this was enough to cast the burden on defendants. Tyler, in his work on…
