STATEMENT OF THE CASE
[1] Appellant-Defendant, LHO Indianapolis One Lessee, LLC d/b/a Indianapo lis Marriott Downtown (Marriott), appeals the trial court’s certification of a class defined by Appellee-Plaintiff, Ester Bowman (Bowman):

ISSUES
[3] Marriott raises three issues on appeal, which we consolidate and restate as the following two issues:(1) Whether the trial- court erred in entering judgment oh the merits in favor of Bowman; and(2) Whether the trial court abused its discretion in granting class certification pursuant to Indiana Trial Rule 23.
