These two actions of trespass on the- case for negligence were ¡brought by a mother and her minor son p.p.a. to recover for personal injuries suffered by the son and consequential damages sustained by the mother allegedly resulting from the negligence of the defendant’s servants and agents. The cases were consolidated for trial and heard together ¡before a justice of the superior court sitting with a jury which returned a verdict for the defendant in the mother’s case ‘and for the son in his case.
