MEMORANDUM ORDER Plaintiff Grant Scherling, a Virginia resident, was involved in a car accident with Defend- ant Erik Dahms, another Virginia resident. Scherling’s alleged injuries exceeded the limit of Dahms’s liability policy. So Scherling submitted a claim for underinsured motorist coverage with his own insurance providers.
