Before this Court is an appeal from a decision of the Board of the Employees' Retirement System of Rhode Island ("ERSRI" or "the Board") denying the purchase of 3.25 years of retirement credit for time spent teaching at the International Institute of Rhode Island ("IIRI") filed by Appellant Kathleen M. Mellor ("Appellant"). The Appellant requests that the Board's decision be reversed and that she be granted the right to purchase the credit for the time she taught at IIRI.
