In an action, inter alia, in effect, to hold the defendant liable for conversion committed by its former employee, the plaintiffs appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Rockland County (Weiner, J.), dated January 3, 2006, which granted the defen*1034dant’s motion pursuant to CPLR 3211 (a) (7) to dismiss the complaint.
Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law, with costs, and the motion to dismiss the complaint is denied.
