This case arises from'the events of May 12, 1995 that resulted in the death of Bien-venido González. The appellants — his widow, Libertad Dávila-Pérez, their children, his mother, and his sister — brought this personal injury action against appellee Martin Marietta Corporation, González’s employer, and Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical Corporation. 1 Based on the statutory employer defense made available- under the Puerto Rico Workmen’s Compensation Act (“PRWCA”), 11 L.P.R.A. §§ 2, 21, the district court granted summary judgment in favor of appellee and dismissed all claims…
