This is an appeal from a judgment for the defendants in a suit brought by the appellant on one clause of a contract for the sale of land lying in that portion of the Washington Suburban Sanitary District which is located in Montgomery County. The suit arose out of the following paragraph of the contract of sale, dated June 30, 1954, between the appellees as sellers and the appellant as purchaser.
“9. Taxes, general and special, are to be adjusted according to the certificate of taxes issued by the Treasurer of the County, except that assessments for improvements completed prior to the date…
