Plaintiff Alii Katt 1 sued her former employer, the New York City Police Department (the City), and Police Lieutenant Anthony DiPalma alleging that she was subjected to sexual harassment and a sexually hostile and abusive work environment in violation of state and federal law and the New York City Human Rights Law. Katt, a civilian employee, worked as a police administrative aide in the Seventh Precinct.
