On November 5, 2009, the defendant, Alton Kennedy, was charged by bill of information with one count of armed robbery, in violation of La. R.S. MAT. 1 At his arraignment on November 9, 2009, the defendant pled not guilty to the offense charged. The defendant filed discovery and suppression motions on November 13, 2009. After a preliminary and suppression hearing on January 25, 2010, the trial court found probable cause and denied defendant’s motions to suppress identification and statement.
