delivered the opinion of the court.
An information as filed in the county court of Effing-ham county charging that plaintiff in error (hereafter called plaintiff), without reasonable cause, did neglect and refuse to provide support and maintenance for his wife, Mary J. Parks, she being in destitute or necessitous circumstances. A plea of not guilty was entered and a trial was had resulting in a verdict of guilty. A new trial was denied, judgment was entered on the verdict and a fine of $200 was assessed against plaintiff to be paid to his wife in monthly instalments.…
