MEMORANDUM AND OPINION ORDER

KEELEY, Chief Judge.

This case is before the Court on an appeal from a ruling of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. The matter is fully briefed and ready for the Court’s consideration. The Court must determine:(1) Whether interest on student loan debt may be discharged in a bankruptcy proceeding absent a finding of undue hardship; and(2) Whether allowing interest to accrue on the Appellee’s student loan debt during the pendency of the Appel-lee’s Chapter 13 reorganization plan would subject the Appellee to undue hardship.
