The plaintiffs in this action challenge titles to real property derived from a tax sale held in the city of Jamestown on the 14th day of December, 1934. Notice of the tax sale was dated November 27th, and was published in a newspaper of that city on Wednesday, November 28, Wednesday, December 5, and Tuesday, December 11, 1934. Thus only sixteen days elapsed from the date of the first advertisement to the date of sale. The plaintiffs contend that the tax sale is void because notice for longer period is required by the statute.
