This bill was filed by Winston to obtain either a rescission of- a contract for the purchase of land or an abatement of the price, and an injunction against two judgments for the purchase money. The original bill alledges as a ground for rescission, the want of a perfect derivation of title from the patentee to J. H. Gwathmey, by whom, through his attorney, Dallam, the contract of sale was made, and as a ground for abatement in the price, it alledges a deficiency in the quantity and disputes as to boundaries and possession.
