The issue presented is whether the plaintiff’s grantors acquired, by implication of grant, upon the severance of lands held in common ownership, certain easements over the lands retained.
Annie Rehill, the common owner of an irregular plot of land at the northwest corner of One Hundred and Eighty-fourth street and Third avenue, erected thereon in 1897 three three-story buildings of similar character, known as Nos. 4555, 4557 and 4559 Third avenue.
