ORDER

After an extensive chase, officers finally cornered Jose Soriano’s van, but Soriano refused their orders that he get out. Sori-ano’s van bumped an officer, the officer jumped on the hood to avoid being run over, and Soriano continued to go forward with the officer on its hood. Another officer, fearing that his fellow officer’s life was in imminent danger, fired at Soriano, injuring him.
