On November 15, 1926, the appellant, Salmeier, was informed against in the superior court of Adams county on two counts, one for the crime of seduction and the other for the crime of lewdness. He was arrested late in the month of December following, on a warrant issued upon the information, and gave bail to answer the charge. On January 3, 1927, he was brought before the court for arraignment, at which time he expressed a desire to plead guilty to the charge and to marry the prosecuting witness.
