INTRODUCTION

Defendant Jose Reyes (“Reyes”) has filed pretrial motions seeking various forms of relief. Defendant Thomas Rodriguez (“Rodriguez”) has joined in these motions to the extent they affect him and has also asked that his case be consolidated with a different pending case, or, in the alternative, that he be granted a severance. 1 After the submission of extensive briefs on the issues raised, a number of the motions were resolved.
