On March 17, 1992, 1 a suicide bomber drove a truck filled with explosives into the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina, killing twenty-nine people and wounding over two hundred. Hezbollah 2 publicly accepted responsibility for the bombing. This action has been brought by the estate of one of the bombing’s victims, David Ben-Rafael, and his immediate family members.
