Gerald C. Setley, (Claimant) appeals from the order of the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board (Board) which affirmed the decision of a referee to deny workmen’s compensation benefits. For the reasons which follow, we affirm the order of the Board.

Claimant is employed as a junior technician in the research and development department of Kawecki Berylco Industries (Employer). Although Claimant *243usually worked during the second shift (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), one of the conditions of Ms employment required that he he available to work different shifts.
