Relator, Esther Ward, filed a petition for writ of mandamus complaining of the trial court’s 1 June 25, 2007 order compelling relator to present herself for a medical examination that relator contends is void for lack of jurisdiction.

Relator claimed a job-related injury and filed for workers’ compensation with the Texas Department of Insurance, Workers’ Compensation Division (“the Division”).
