Plaintiff sued to recover compensation for professional services rendered defendant in connection with her *326arrest by the-federal authorities, under charges of aiding a deserter and of assisting a draft evader of the United States army and for services in connection with various proceedings under warrants of seizure issued against articles of personal property owned by defendant.
