Defendant, Albert Robinson, was convicted of rape (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, par. 11—1(a)), aggravated kidnapping (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, par. 10—2(a)), unlawful restraint (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, par. 10—3(a)), and deviate sexual assault (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, par. 11—3(a)). Following a jury trial, defendant was sentenced to concurrent prison terms of nine years, four years and nine years.
